Under the theme ‘Connecting Minds, Creating the Future,’ Expo 2020 Dubai is geared up to host the world starting October 1st 2021. It will welcome participants and visitors from more than 190 countries in different regions of Africa, Asia, Australasia, Europe, the Middle East, North America, and South America, offering them an international platform to collaborate and innovate.

This year’s Expo in particular is set out to make global history, being the first-of-its-kind event to be held in the Middle East is showcasing country pavilions. The event will allow each participating nation to highlight the uniqueness and beauty of their respective cultures and traditions.

Hundreds of country pavilions located at the 1,083-acre Expo site, equivalent to 613 football pitches, will be divided into three districts based on their themes. The three districts are Sustainability, Mobility and Opportunity.

Country pavilions at the Sustainability District will emphasise the need to take actions to help protect planet Earth. Those located at the Mobility District will demonstrate how to create connections that will drive human progress. Meanwhile the nations situated at the Opportunity District will feature how dreams are transformed into the “realities of tomorrow”.

Millions of people from around the world are expected to descend on Dubai to participate in the six-month global extravaganza, creating substantial activities that will bring a positive, long-term impact on the emirate’s economy.  

It is going to be an exciting gathering of people of various cultural backgrounds—an event that is bound to make a difference in the world’s efforts to build a more sustainable, better future for all.
